What this document is
An MOT quality control checklist is an internal record used to plan and evidence routine checks of testing standards, records and corrective actions.
When a garage might use it
An Authorised Examiner or manager may use it as part of their ongoing quality-control arrangements, particularly when reviewing tester activity, identified issues or preparation for a site review.
Who normally completes or reviews it
Usually completed or reviewed by the Authorised Examiner, Authorised Examiner Designated Manager or another person with appropriate MOT quality-control responsibility.

Retain completed quality-control records, action follow-ups, tester training evidence and other supporting documents required for your MOT arrangements.
