Common mistakes
Assessing a product once and never reviewing it when the supplier changes formulation, or not keeping the safety data sheet alongside the assessment.
Important limitations
COSHH assessments are substance-specific — a general workshop policy does not fulfil this requirement for each hazardous product in use.
